    THE HEAVY RAINING DARKNESS

That day and that year, I wasn’t there
Nor do I even see it, not at all
But its film and drammer over whelms me
For that evening my grandfather was there
    Drinking palm wine with Abacha…..
With His “Chi” at the corner side
His wives and children’s at a play
Yea… that hot afternoon, yes very hot
When the sun comes down to the ground
In a quest for struggle; but doomed….
    It suddenly became dark…..
That the white cloud disappeared into the air
That the lighting of thunders couldn’t been seen
But its sound fears the earth…..

    1967…………………………
The children ran to their father
His wives at his back shivering
He died in silent of the soul……
Yet drew out his sword and bow
Jumped out in fear but in confidence
To save the souls given to him by his Chis
But the fearless of his fear, feared the darkness
That it has to seize the rain from raining
    No more sun for photosynthesis
Green grasses dies in yellow fever
Genocide ringing out like bell at him
    Yet……..they all laugh at him……..
And it fade away, and sun shines once again

    NOW………………2020……..……..
It was a gentle breeze, breezing up…..
Slowly!! Slowly!!! But steady in speed
From the Sahara desert….with forcing dust
Through the North down to the East
Crosses the South to the West…
Moving hurriedly from the middle-belt back to East
With faces full of peace, but war in mind.
    The sun fears this darkness….
For its existence may be a folk tell
    To this dooming darkness

    Open …………and …….….see………
Of which my pen brakes down here
My paper flew out in fear
My spectacle falls down and quashed among my chair
That my eyes flows blood down
To my chest down to my feet….
That the children of my grandfather….
His children children……….dies at the womb
But still yet…….. They will laugh out louder
Oh. Oh. Oh… watch the pointing pointer
    Yellow shout out for readiness….!!!
    Green match for actions….!!!
    For red…..it shall end there……..!!!
    Goodnight!!!………... to the SUN…….…..!!
